The CLASSIC model HSI is a center winding slitter designed to handle various types of flexible packaging or printing materials. Featuring separate unwinder and rewinder unit, its modular design allows customers to seamlessly integrate additional processing equipment in the future, such as laser scoring, VV cut for easy tear devices, powder spraying units, punching holes devices and more, providing flexible solutions to meet evolving needs.

The HSI machine with impressive slitting speeds of up to 400m/min or 500m/min, with a maximum winding diameter of 600mm. Its shaftless unwind unit makes loading materials effortless for operators. Employing a differential shaft winding mechanism ensures stable tension control during winding, thereby enhancing the quality of the finished products. The unique off-center lay-on roller design effectively addresses uneven thickness issues caused by material adherence or printing, ensuring consistent processing quality for every finished jobs.

This model is suitable for slitting various types of flexible packaging, printing materials and shrink sleeve material. In addition to standard razor knife and circular/shear knife slitting systems, it can be paired with pneumatic circular knives and crush cutting blades according to customer requirements, offering versatile blade replacement options to accommodate different processing needs.

Furthermore, the standard configuration includes a 3” friction differential shaft, with each quick lock ring having a width of 25mm, ensuring stable winding of materials as narrow as 50mm. Customers also have the option to upgrade to a 6” specification or customize other sizes and widths of differential shafts based on their specific requirements.
